This company could be great. And from what I hear, there was a time when it was a lot better to work for.

This company has a high turnover rate due to excessive micromanagement. The management refuses to give expectations and it is hard to get them to send you anything in writing. The staff will gossip and lie about other staff and they will write employees up without proof, especially when they find their next target.

Management makes current employees write good reviews.

"Choices" they claim, is their focus, but choices are NOT an option.

The individuals at Choices are absolutely the only positive part of working there. The management is utterly incompetent and they do not care about their individuals or staff members.

Unfortunately morale does not exist, people with positivity get shot down and their good ideas die with it. Positivity is preached, but no one leads by example. Managers used to do coachings and actually try to help people have a chance to do better, but now they hand out write ups and reprimands like it’s candy. The positive approach no longer exists

Management can be better, with too many cliques and bullying. Hopefully they are all weeded out soon.

Management will throw staff under the bus to protect themselves. If you have an issue with any of the managers, you might as well find another job, the personal relationships run all of the way up the chain. Virtually no growth opportunities, unless you manage to get in the clique.

I was promised a two dollar an hour raise after completing my training, then after I completed it, I was told that I would have to wait 6 months to receive it, which was not what was explained in writing when I started my training.

When I first started I absolutely LOVED my job but then it took a quick turn. Upper management is very unorganized and communication skills are non existent.

The work environment is chaos and 90% of management is unreliable and useless. Be careful, they’ll fire you for something that was their doing and take no responsibility or repercussions for actions.

If you want support, competent management, and a friendly environment this is NOT it. However, if you want to put up with bullying to the point of dark thoughts, go here. I'll tell you what, after working here, I can put up with a lot more in my life

The overturn rate is absurdly way to too high. Not just "peon" staff either... The Team Leads and management are inevitably new faces/hires every few weeks.

Speaking up about things that need to be changed or improved upon will get you in trouble.

If you fit in with the in crowd, your fine. If you don't fit in with them, they will let you go, for what ever reason they can make up.

I can’t say much more then the management is absolutely terrible and do not give two shits about employees who are not in their circle. If you work here heads up that you will be better off going to your coworkers with questions because management will treat you like a clueless three year old.

Don’t work for this company if you have a backbone or want to stand up for yourself.

Even those who enjoy this kind of work will be disappointed. Ironically, this company is also very unsafe for neurodivergent workers.

If you want a job that cares about its employees and prides itself in caring for the individuals it serves, Choices For People is NOT it! Save yourself the time and heartache, and look elsewhere.

The management is so toxic and they are all related or having relations. Working with the individuals is rewarding, but the individuals and the staff deserve much better. If they cleaned out some management it would go back to being a wonderful place to work. But as of right now, I would tell anyone to steer clear!

Not a good place for your individual. Staff doesn't take time for them, nor do they follow their ISP plan. Please do not put your individual in their care. Awful, favoritism, judgemental staff. Very very dysfunctional place to work!

There is zero accountability with this company.

Work for the company. It will be inwardly rewarding. Don't work too hard for the company. It will not be appreciated or acknowledged. You will be treated like a number, so treat it like a paycheck.

However, the management that actually care are few and far between. Everyone else is concerned with gossip and friendships outside of work. This really impacts the consumers and leaves the Staff overworked and burnt out after frequent long shifts.

New employees are bullied by staff that have been there longer, and the Day Hab management do nothing about it because they freinds.
